When will manufacturing see a layoff?

"TSMC shows more wafers with fewer heads"
Those heads sleep on the floor of the fab and get to see their families for special occasions.
4% attribution rate isn't enough for how much excess headcount was found. Nice try.
Manufacturing doesn't need layoffs, the attrition is high enough
Mnfx is not safe. Benchmarking shows TSMC produces more wafers with fewer heads so, no safe spaces Sith puppies at Intel anymore.
who do you clowns think make the wafers? elves? get a clue
Bean counters
Nope manufacturering is safe
Intel has far too many heads per $ of revenue or per wafer as compared to TSMC... So, if the company wants to be competitive the heads will have to be cut. The only question is how many. Most estimates suggest another 20,000 heads to be cut.
When the profit & loss is split out for manufacturing, there will undoubtedly be a headcount reduction… after Q4 and/or Q1
