Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Something BIGGER going on.

There is a big picture being created and it involves Broadcom, Vmware, Dell Technologies, MD and SilverLake. So make the Balance Sheet look as good as possible.

@1moc+1odjlREG Lol "And note merger with AVGO == layoffs ( see the pattern that links it to this site ) ?"

Are you a first grader or a grown up professional to see patterns like this? The only pattern I see is my my foot on your a-s pudding fingers.

Wow Dell still has or had this kind of pattern seeing intelligent greats? No wonder this company is like this.

Really? Nice way to start rumors and pile on it. We are in a layoff site, worried about whether out jobs will be safe or go away and people who are already laid off and WE THE PEOPLE giving ideas about mergers and all. Dell is pathetic because of people like us only. Before pounding on me, just visit all the other company threads and compare it with Dell. Pathetic threads are only in Dell.

A cycle of layoffs lasting months seems like preparation for merger but on the other hand the push for online orderflows and automation is a big priority. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out. I'll still be here, unless I'm not lol

Interesting theory, there is definitely a push to AI and Online. Likely that would result in increased operational efficiency which we all know leads to more WFRs. But did not think it has something to do with getting ready for a merger. I doubt that MSD is willing to give up his name on the door or control regardless of the money involved.

MD gets shares/votes in AVGO - so AVGO may want part of Dell and MD is ready to trade ( mutual asset control as peace strategy going forward) so there may be 40% dell shares in the ballance to be sold to AVGO

MD making not 21 but $35bln in process

I agree something bigger is going on. From what I see it is largely a shift in the way we are doing business. The push for online order streams and automation is a high priority. Some support teams will change or be canceled. The changes are big - as to why, no idea yet.

Why would Broadcom want to buy a commodity business like Dell. Intel based laptops and servers are not something you cannot find anywhere else.

Broadcom is already getting VMWare.

Won’t be surprised if dell will be bought by Broadcom, and mr Dell can take his billions, retire and start preaching about how to do goodness in the world!
