Honeywell prefers to surprise attack their employees to avoid any pushback or organization. A random town hall announced < 24hrs before would be more cause for concern.
From the 2019 Albuquerque shut down (I was a technical manager), it seems unlikely that a town hall will be how it is announced. What they did in Albuquerque was bring in many of the director level leaders, have a meeting with all the senior managers and then march right out and have the managers talk to the people. (Of course we already knew what was happening.) I certainly think MorriSsPlains is still in at risk "footprint reduction". I just don't think this town hall is the sign.
MP office will close in the next 5 years, very little occupancy even after RTO. Portion of PMT will continue to remain in MP but not in the current building. VK is not going to say anything in the townhall, hopefully there will be some food to listen to his cr-p

Very well could be. These things take time buy announcement of intent to close can happen at the town hall. Are there new rumors with a level of intensity?
