Thread regarding Ford layoffs

If your area was cut in June 2023, will it get cut again?

ADAS lost 25% in June; will we lose that much again?

@2iuc Which area? Are you in ADAS?
No, but another area in Modele. I'm assuming you're @OP and part of ADAS? I would be surprised if they made another round of cuts so quickly after the June layoffs especially if they were 25% as you said.

Our area was hit pretty hard in June, and we were told that there are currently no further reductions planned. Clearly, they didn't mean "forever", but I took it to mean "all clear" for ~6-9 months. I'll repost if we are included in the next rumored round in August/September.

OP understand this. The goal is 100% engineering and software development in LCCs. Until that goal is reached all areas, hit before or not, can be hit again.

Remember, the goal is all engineering and software development in LCCs. So the answer to your question is not only yes, but no one is safe, as their goal is 100% in all areas except management

I've heard from credible source this next round will be a bloodbath. Their words not mine. All areas. However, 8/28 may not be the day. It might be 9/25 instead.
