I don’t think so. Usually, it would have leaked to the press by now.

Layoffs will continue until morale improve - your leader!
the 2019 cuts were 5/19/2019
“There are no layoffs.”
It’s not Tuesday.
Post from TheLayoff.com
Link? Nothing out there on google..
Ford of Austraila was hit. 300 people gone
@2erd+1oikVYyr and you know this how? Are you the same tool that dismissed the agency layoffs last week?
Even if they “axe people on Tuesdays”, it would be really weird that there is literally no announcement from any site.
Last time this happened in June, by the Monday before , there were tons of articles talking about it
As I said before, they seem to like to axe people on Tuesdays.
Maybe they finally told Jim to STFU about incoming layoffs and they will be stealthy. FWIW our org said no more planned reductions or layoffs, but that could only be Ford Salaried. (Connectivity)
This site used to be credible but now people just post fake comments to troll.
The last poster about 15min meeting invite is full of it.
Which org are you in?
To last poster, keep us updated. Also if it's your LL4 doing it that means that likely your LL5 and LL6 are also toast.
Just got an invite to a 15 minute meeting with my LL4. My LL4 doesn’t even know what I look like.
Think about it. April 2022 cuts and august 2022 cuts and June 2023 cuts all seemed to fall on 22nd of month or later.
That’s all I remember
If I remember things I read here correctly, the 9/26 date is after the Auto Show.
The 8/28 is before Labor Day.
The 5,000 is based on information from interviews published some time ago were percentages were given.
How much money will Ford save if they get rid of their old employees before Labor Day?
Do you KNOW based on first hand knowledge or a clary source or are you piecing together information and coming to a logical conclusion? Just trying to understand how for sure these statements are is all.
Why must terminations occur only on 8/28/23 or 9/25/23?
@1wrj - is this speculative or do you have a credible source? Where did 5000 come from and why ambiguous on the timing?
Agree. More salary firings coming up starting 8/28/23 or 9/25/23. 5,000 salary heads going to be cut in USA primarily from Michigan. That’s why they delayed PDC construction for 5 years. JF Ford Plus Plan terminates 10,000+ employees by 2024 while hiring in Mexico, India, and South America (zero penalty for headcount there) so Time is running out on 2023 …plus Ford EV’s aren’t selling and UAW striking on 9/14/23. All of this is very bad for Ford and its US salary employees.
Back to point. Blood going to be spilled either tomorrow or Sept 25th.
Fools taking about GOP vs. Dems, Dems vs.GOP…
Dont you get by now they are one in the same and controlled by an administrative security state that has duped you into believing in one team or another while you bicker amongst yourselves as they impoverish you and destroy your country and culture.
You damn fools.
UAW is 80% GOP, where are their daddy's supporting UAW ? The irony of UAW voting GOP is that the very same party does not give a hoot about them because they are a basket of Trailer White trash (Chumpies's words)
I bet GOP operatives who are Putin lovers and hat America are behind the UAW strike. UAW members are so gullible that they are willing to give their a**hole to their rich masters, so pathetic seeing hard workers on their knees waiting for the while juice.
This country deserves GOP leaders who are a bunch of leeches. JF and Billy treated chumpy like a queen, now they are begging Democrats to save them from their own mistakes.
Because it have leaked to they press? Last August the media didn't report it until the layoffs were mostly over.
Don't be obtuse.
You'll be gone by this time next week
Reuters seemed to have reported 4 days before the last layoff happened and nothing has been posted about August so idk
As I commented in another post, mass layoffs by iconic American companies look very bad for the Biden and Whitmer regimes.
Ford probably wants some sort of special deal from the government so the first move in this chess game is for Ford to start hinting at more layoffs. I’m sure intense negotiations between Lansing and Ford and Washington and Ford are happening.
This takes time.
Also, with the impending threat of a UAW strike with huge election-year political ramifications, I’m sure the crony-capitalist machine is in overdrive. The meetings managers have been in recently may have more to do with the strike than with layoffs.
Besides, Ford seems to like to axe people on Tuesdays.
