Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Hurricane

So, now that we are under a warning, I wonder if they are going to show little concern for employee safety again and stay open as long as THEY have power.

You get put in the outer elbow if you don't put in your "voluntary" EEI while a hurricane is ripping the roof off your building.

Have to keep those quarterly stock prices up so the board can get paid millions.

Plant 5 sold years ago. No longer part of Honeywell. Good luck at dry cleaner. Make card somewhere else.

They tell me you must come to work or risk job. I make cards in plant 5 and need job. Honeywell seem like bad company. I may go work at dry cleaner

People, get it through your heads. THEY. DON’T. CARE. ABOUT. YOU. Power out, street completely flooded, tree down across your driveway? Get into the office or take a vacation day. This has been what they are doing for years. And don’t expect any time to prepare your home, board up those windows when you get home from work you had 2 hrs before the storm started.

Like Total recall. Honeywell a memory of a lifetime. Your life is now over. You're still a future shaper in the afterlife.

You’re a future shaper. We should make a YouTube channel. I’m driving to work in a category four hurricane. Honeywell wants to parts.

If you live to tell the story, everyone will think you’re the most dedicated employee. If you die, the politicians will probably try to protect Honeywell. Remember, you’re a future shape or an afterlife. Thank you, Honeywell.

Same mentality when there is a blizzard. Whiteout conditions and sub-zero temperatures causing ice /snow covered impassable roads. Better get to the site and work that utilization.

It's fine. They will open the rat infested cafeteria or bring in a bag of chips and a few red solo cups to drink from the lagoon in the front of the plant. MUST WORK HARDER

They will do the same thing they did last time. You could have crocodiles and python, floating down the hallway. They would still make your work.

Reputation this company has money always comes first.

Already received OPEN FOR BUSINESS email, and notify your manager to make arrangements if you can’t make it in. It’s obly projected to be CAT 3 (115 mph) so roads should be safe. Haha
