If you have any worthwhile skills I would suggest you leave this shitshow that is Intel as soon and as fast as you can. And make sure never to look back. I know a few people who decided to return a few years after leaving, and each of them regrets that decision today.

Anyone with a bit of talent leaves Intel ASAP. The only people left are the bloviating lifers, political clowns, snake oil salesmen, and entire villages of Indians.
Old timers know…. It’s going to blow. You see them taking VSP lifeboats. You would be smart to do that too.
There is NO Possible Way IFS has a 30% chance of success. Even with CHIPs Act money, yes, Intel can build and finish Fabs, but Intel is 10 years behind TSMC technology.
This is the problem with taking employment at Intel now... The IFS bet is so big that the situation is unstable. Huge cash outlays are required.
Either Intel succeeds and you keep your job (30% chance) OR Intel fails and has to give up on vertical integration and outsource manufacturing like AMD did. Many jobs will be lost (70%).
There is no safe play at Intel. As long as you go in eyes wide open and believe in the CEO's "moonshot" we wish you luck.
Same. I left after two decades, came back, and left again within a month.
Never again.
There are still people claiming to make positive contributions. Of course, this is an oft-repeated cliche within Intel for decades. Evidently, Intel is on a downward trend and this is a direct result of leadership and execution. It is too late.
I like sh-t show. i love intel
Yep , I am one of them and I left after 2 years. A completely different place than when I was there first time . a sh1t show is accurate
