Do you see yourself building a longer term career at this company (assuming you don’t get picked in the layoff roulette)?
There doesn’t seem to be much growth , people are demoralized and the pay is absolutely below average in the industry. Why should we bust our butts and get equity of a garbage stock?

So your alternative is jobless and no pay, I guess Ford pay and benefits is pretty good compared to your alternative. Good talent can get a job even in this market. Be better yourself and the rest will take care of itself.
Job market isn’t great so I’m forced to stay here even though I don’t want to.

I’m curious what department you all work in that you can’t just leave r it’s so bad? Or perhaps you are just here to troll the employees who like it at Ford and are only here because they are genuinely concerned about their job.

I am, this place is garbage and the longer I stay the more damage my resume is getting.
Pay is 100% below average.
Benefits su-k, we don’t even get gym benefits. the insurance is barely just above the worst kind.
I wasn’t even given a monitor to work with and had to buy my own monitor and home setup.

Healthcare benefits are expensive at Ford so BS on the benefits. I have a family member who got a job in the power industry with $250 deductible vs 6000 at Ford. And he has a pension as well. They gave him $750 card to cover gym membership or whatever he needs for recreation AND a guaranteed 10 to 15k bonus every year
If you don't believe in any company, find one or create your own that you do believe in. No company is an entitlement, for all those who want to quiet quit please move along, you are part of the problem as well. When change is forced on an industry all kinds of mistakes and misadventures happen. Be part of the solution by doing something.
Pay is not below average. You’d be hard pressed to get similar pay and benefits somewhere else.
