I can top a storekeeper job, I’m a storekeeper that has been getting tractor trailer pay for 15 years now because they took away transportation and put us here. Yes we do basically nothing all day but not out fault. Best part is we get 4 dollars an hour more than a storekeeper since we kept our title. Aahhh only in Verizon. Gotta love it.

A storekeeper is a clerk that keeps inventories for garages. Inside every garage is a "store" which is like an internal radio shack. When my office kept inventory the amount the "store" was worth was staggeringly high. These parts are not off the shelf, they are unique to telco. The power utilities have something similar with warehouses where they pick up their supplies.

Storekeepers are necessary in garage settings, can't live without it. How'd you like your phone to be out for a week instead of a day?

VZ network operations is pretty much the entire union workforce. The management team that runs it are “very special” let’s just say they are clueless.

What is it exactly that my union dues gets me??? Yeah you're right, they tell me how to vote because they think I can't think for myself. They sit in the union hall and do nothing while collecting a salary off my dues.

"Migrants from south america will be the new workforce"

Didn't CWA tell everyone to vote for Biden? You did it to yourself. Don't like it talk to the union.

How about we just streamline our management structure to President, Vice President, Director, Manager (2nd level), First level. Do we really need Executive Directors, Senior VPs, etc.

If you think the storekeepers need to go, imagine all the deadwood you could lose in BR. Keeping that stock price at an all time low…

Co techs need surplus. Anyone can change a card or fuse and run a jumper. Or have tier 2 tell u how to fix it.

When Brightspeed takes over it is just going to be one title. Do it all dog from the CO to the House. No more system techs, storekeeper, splicers, OPT or Frame attendant.

How about “Frame Attendant” what exactly does that job do? Frames have been obsolete since 1985.

Best position in the company. I would ki-l for a case of that wasp spray. I miss the free shopping in the garages…don’t be jealous of them. Whether you stayed in union or moved into management each has their pro/cons. Stop being a baby and showing your jealous side. Wait don’t stop it would make this less enjoyable to read

@vev+1omNOKUu Dont forget electrical tape, bee spray, Fantastik cleaner(you wouldnt believe how much Fantastik gets used) and glass cleaner. Verizon must have the cleanest work trucks. Also they order AAA batteries(even though there is nothing that uses AAA batteries). Storekeeper sounds like an incredible job.

The store keeper takes care of the union folks by providing necessities such as shaving cream(for lead of course,) paper towels (to wipe off the lead) dish soap, bug sprays, grass seed for the spring lawn. I can go on and on. Oh and
