So I'm off today and my manager texted me you have no closer he called in today so department going to look really bad this guy got 6 points this attendance system is so broken.

If it is your off day, do not respond. You are OFF the clock.
the attendance system isn't broken, it's fairly lenient. associates can miss quite often. especially if they have ppto.
the problem with sam's club is they do don't staff the club properly. therefore when a call out occurs in a fresh dept, turns into a disaster.
it's like they believe no one will ever be sick, have car trouble, or have something happen that they have to miss work.
they operate with no margin for error or no safety net.
we usually only have 1 person closing in bakery, produce, meat, & f/c during the week. when one calls out, its a mess. when two call out....ge-z.
this company says they want us to give legendary member service..... it starts with them... they have to give us the payroll to do that. it's not possible to give your members a great experience when there aren't enough people there to assist & take care of the club.go
And if management doesn’t have a conversation with this associate nothing can be done they need to have a conversation at 3, and 4 points before they can get fired! So looks like your stuck with him or her
the attendance system is not broken .. its the managers.. they are broken..
Oh well. Same sh-t, different day.
