Footwear Manufacturing Issues

Now that all the shoe dogs are gone we seem to be treating factories like widget makers. Look at the stitching quality of the Dunk these days. VA knows warehouses but nothing about footwear.

Quality in every spectrum of most companies has gone downhill. Nike would be no exception. It’s been a rough few years and bouncing back will take a decade or more, and that’s if we ever get it back.

There is a valid point here, because we used to manage at that level, but it’s not happening now. It’s Ironic that the concept of managing stitching quality by the brand can’t be comprehended. The new idea from VA is anyone can make anything, even in India.
