People not showing up to meetings or asleep

Love how this is a norm. People just skip meetings or are fast asleep during them.

Maybe try not having 6 meetings to answer 1 simple question. Oh I forgot 5 of those meetings have 15 LL6s and LL5s arguing over the graph design for slide 3.

DF made a big deal about skipping meetings that he didn't deem as requiring his presence, and many of us do the same. I've been in too many meetings in the past where I ended up realizing afterwards they were just wasting my time.

If they're not showing up, your meeting wasn't important enough. If they're not paying attention, it's because you invited too many people.

Ford employees need a huge lesson around how to run meetings. It's ridiculous that there are weekly calls with 100+ people on them wasting an hour. Costs us so much productivity.

That’s always the case. I used to be in directors meeting and the gsr person running the projector screen and taking notes was on Amazon or looking at something on the internet when director was sitting across from him. (Two screen mode).

Back when I had a building and a desk to go to, before 2020, I spent most of my day sitting at my desk attending WebEx meetings. We all did.

Except for lunch. We’d go out for a hour or so.

Meetings are a trap. Less work can be completed. For those that say... Just multitask, well that is not working, how has the quality/warranty and been
recalls going? Doing the same thing and expecting different results.
