i dont see a great offer coming just maybe a reg eipp.A large surplus and the company will lay off all the new hires in the last 6-8 years they will all be laid off. Plus the union will not allow the company too offer a great package cause they will lose too many members cause they really care about YOU---NOT..that's how the story will play out...

if they offer an eipp with alittle extra ,it really doesnt pay to leave unless you have a job lined up that pays well ,most likly not or you have other source of income,or if your close to collect social security. your better off staying til the end of the contract,lump sum is garbage thanks to president biden-flation and ur monthly pension is garbage thanks you the useless union give backs.frozen for 7 years pension band .most union you get at least 1/2 your base pay ,this place you get 1/3rd

Eisp talk is a bunch of people who say “if they make an offer im outta here” and that starts the rumor. Ive also seen it where the same people saying that get an offer then they stay saying “why would I leave 80,000 a year, my vacation etc to go work somewhere else harder and less money”. Verizon is full of blowhard big talkers.

No they ate hiring here in NY. Short people and working ot every day except Sundays. If you didn't leave before GATT rate change last June you are better off staying until 2026. You are layoff proof so don't sweat it.
