Not sure how it's going to work with bakery or prep but it doesn't sound like a great idea. I know store receivers are a couple years from being eliminated

Get rid of your lazy receivers or make them start working other departments.

Computer orders everything based on sales data and global input for promos, seasonal etc." That is funny, when has any program WFM rolled out ever worked correctly or lasted more than a year before they either changed it or dropped it? Target has this type of system only it actually works how they want it to but they still have Buyers because they know they are necessary. Amazon has been nothing but a huge disappointment.
Get rid of "trainers."
All they do is to harrass tms for Cornerstone. You can ask my dept. trainer about something in the GIG handbook, and she has no clue. She only cares about looking good for leadership so she can get a raise.
Get rid of SSI and SSS too.
Buyers won’t be needed. Computer orders everything based on sales data and global input for promos, seasonal etc. ATL or TL does negative inventory adjustments to the data. More labor savings for the company. Thank everybody that pushed hard to drive OTS, store process, scorecards etc. the goal for all that stuff was to eliminate buyers first, ATL’s and TL’s next. Welcome to WalMart.
they wont be fired, they just wont be replaced when they leave. and you better believe if they dont leave , they will be 'pushed out' . they want to lower buyers in all stores
honestly this entire system of 3 supervisors per department, 3 store leaders and multiple buyers was broken to begin with. its all going to change and im sure everyone left knows that
