Sell side analysts are a joke. There is zero correlation between analyst rating and stock performance. Look at the clowns who cover Intel. Average rating is hold, yet they have targets around $42. Who grifts more, Intel CEO or sell side analyst. Toss up.

This makes sense. Pat needs something for the analysts to grab on to to give him credibility.
It really is a bad look to be telling the analysts that you know your competitors costs because you are a customer.

It’s one thing to have a record of performance to talk behind but Pat is a c0cky embarrassment. It is truly a sad ending to Intel. Pat and the BoD will have completely destroyed what is left of Intel

I dont know above information from @OP is correct or not, but even to attempt to share non-public information violates so many legal and ethical rules.
Alright, its one thing to come on this forum and vent out the frustration and its another to quote internal non-public information.
I dont agree with some things internally and many leaders BUT refrain from sharing any confidential information on this site.
Intel’s volume need in lassoing edge is how much. Already TMG is inferior to TSMC that the GPU die and controller are made at TSMC and CPU is done in-house. The reality is of the CPU was done at TSMC it could be on a more adnaced node or a similar node with both better yields and cost. Just look ad AMD and TSMC margins to see the obvious.
Intel has no chance at anything but being a Lockheed like manufacturing for the US government and once Samsung and TSMC get their fabs up on US intel will lose that too.
Intel do eat have the customers or scale that TSMC, dang even Pat said it himself TSMC is so compelling even he has to buy from them to compete.
Who does this c0cky guy think he is? At least with BK we got drones and watches and light shows.
Intel will run out of money before it ever gets close to being able to compete with TSMC.
