@1kdd: Don't worry the Model E dummies will say the cars they roll out won't need any brake fluid, will not have any door latches or steering system. It will all be software, with, no hardware that can fail. Therefore ZERO recalls or quality issues. Part of the JF/DF club.
I cannot wait till our next-gen Model e products and services are out for our customers to experience. Recalls and quality issues will finally be behind us as a company. Plus the features will be second to none.

As if Ford's leadership in the number of recalls weren't bad enough, the defects leading to the recalls are often more severe in Fords than in other vehicle brands. Recent problems have included door latches that won't stay latched, brake hoses that leak fluid, and steering wheel retaining bolts that can fail and leave the driver holding a steering wheel that's no longer connected to the steering column.
