Intel Sold NM Fab to Tower Semi for $300M

That's about the same amount of money as we owe them for the failed deal.

Intel had a NM layoff in disguise, talked 600 people into going to NM and sold them.

65 NM one off process... this doesn't side like a great deal especially given the weird process nobody else can use,

Compared to the CEO we have a great CFO who worked the deal to keep us afloat!

I noticed the $ were just about the same as the break up fee too. I’m sure that’s not a coincidence. Sounds like a good deal to me.

This is not true. Tower bought wafer starts from Intel. Intel owns the manufacturing.

Interesting ploy to say the least. Tower drops $300 million of their own equipment into an Intel site… no idea how this plays out… many more details to be figured out, I assume…

It seems like an indirect sale of the Fab right?
