Yes use that time to learn new skills...
You should keep working because they are paying you to do so. However, also keep interviewing so that you can get out of there.
Well I pretty much coasted the last 10 years I was there (tho not for lack of trying to get constructive work) , so I would not worry too much about it now.

Yeah, be one of the 20% doing 80% of the work. Now that is the Ford culture.
Dont be like the people that you complain about. Just because leadership stinks and some coworkers have checked out doesnt mean you have to do it too. Show some class.
