I have been told will get promo in October. How much raise should I expect from grade 6 to 7 SOC hardware ?

Even if you will get a promo (which is highly doubtful) nobody told you yet. Why post this obvious cr-p?

Whatever you get, it will be infinitely better than those who did not get promoted…. And they will far outnumber you this year.
I can't remember the exact % but it's fixed per region. I saw some grades at 8%
Expect 3% raise if that. Intel has no money. Intel just lost the acquisition and had to pay hundreds of millions in break up fee. Be happy you have a job or leave
