"If you have worked for thirty years doing the same sh-t you’ve hated day in and day out because you were afraid to quit and take a risk, you’ve been living like a p..ssy. Period, point blank. Tell yourself the truth! That you’ve wasted enough time, and that you have other dreams that will take courage to realize, so you don’t die a fu----g pu--y.
Call yourself out! "

  • from Can't Hurt Me -- Master your mind and defy the odds David Goggins

This is a good book to read to prevent yourself from stopping yourself.

Just look at the peer banks’ pages on this site. Everyone is miserable. Get out of this industry.

How do you do trading when the Personal Trading policy prohibits it and you have to report all your accounts and trades?

No job or company is that important in the long run. Companies and jobs are expendable, just as Wells Fargo thinks its employees are. There will ALWAYS be other options. (Also many other options for where to bank, get a mortgage, etc.) Every one of us has choices. That is the way to think about this truly awful and mismanaged bank situation.

Stop. Some times you just have to force yourself to stop. Stop visiting websites (even here). Stop taking about it every day to others. Stop allowing it to consume you.

I know, much easier said than done. I know people worry and have given of themselves in many ways to WF. But I share from my own experience that I feel better when I stop doing those things (like a Fast) and just step away from reading/talking about it for bits of time. I come back with a bit of a refresh and less intensity and thereby less strain on my mental health.

Develop a support group -- either virtually or physically. Use the support group. This might be in learning new things about yourself, your career, and your life. Develop or reassess your goals.
One of the sites I like is the business model you https://businessmodelyou.com/

Before I was laid off my goal was to learn how to trade. One of my goals was to make as much as my salary trading. By the time I was laid off, I now calculate I was making 1.5 times that goal.
I learned how to trade the open. So I would have all trades for the day done by 10:00 a.m. Eastern. Then I would do the endless Wells meetings. Focus on YOU and not the soggy ground of the "firm".

I lost my mind a long time ago. The only way to get it back is to find a new job elsewhere.

I finally had to leave. It wasn’t until I was gone that I realized just how miserable I had been. As others have said before me, there is life after WF. Take care of yourself.
