Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Two wasted years

I've been stuck at Ford for just two measly years, and if I could hit a reset button, I'd be out of here faster than you can say Jack Robinson. But no use in dwelling on "what ifs," I guess. At this very moment, this job is what's keeping a roof over my head and food on my plate. I plan to stick around until I find something better. As soon as I do, I'm gone.

You people who are unhappy just need to get out of there as soon as possible. Don’t waste time. Find something better as soon as you can!

If you are not proud of the company you are working for and the products that the company makes, you should look for a different company to work for.

That is what I did and I never regret for my decision to leave Ford.

its a free country, free market enterprise... nothing stopping you from the pursuit of your happiness except your spending habits and mouths to feed and fear of the unknown. don't be deadwood... take a risk and leave. otherwise dont stay and live a regretful life, it's yours to live if you choose to complain or do something about it.

Maybe look in the mirror. If you could get better you would have left already. Enjoy the roof over your head. If you can’t get a new job when you are already employed, you won’t get one when unemployed.

You are young. The world is your oyster. Just leave and get another job. It’s not a big deal. People switch jobs all the time.

you are lucky that you realize this after such a short time. it took me a long while to realize. i kept thinking things were going to get better, as long as i worked hard and gave it my best effort. nope. everything went spiraling down.

I’ve been here for about a year and I feel the exact same way.

My team su-ks; we don’t have any proper software engineering practices, projects keep changing frequently and I frankly don’t even want to get promoted.

I’m in the same boat and just want to keep milking as many paychecks as I can.
