Why would you feel the need to bring up the Orange man to deflect from the fact that Granholm was a disaster for Michigan industry as governor, and has completely turned her back on the state's workers as Energy secretary? Whether or not the Orange man was bad really doesn't change that. Yes, many of do want to succeed and have a life for our family in this state. You, however, are just a partisan hack.

I need a car that meets 100% of my driving needs not 80%. Living in the city with access to public transportation, and not having to drive to work, my wife and I are considering going down to one car. That one car won't be an EV, because we have no way of charging it at home in our apartment basement. We could perhaps at some point install electricity in all of the parking stalls but that would be a considerable expense.

I find it galling that so many proponents of EVS brag about being able to charge their second car EV in the garage of their non green home in the suburbs to make their daily work commute. We don't do any of that, and we can't make an EV work for our lifestyle.

I wonder if people - women especially - understand how vulnerable they will be sitting alone in their cars late at night for 20 - 30 minutes while their EV charges.

The most important line in that long, sad story:
