Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Trouble in the Banking World

Check out other boards here, there are in-progress layoffs at: Truist, Bank of New York Mellon, Bank of America, Charless Schwab... Chase is doing good so far, no cuts there - Citi has a hiring freeze and it's just a matter of time when things will unravel over there. The midsize banking sector is getting clobbered right now and small banks and CUs have been laying off all year.

I hope things improve but I am just not seeing anything good on the horizon.

What are you talking about? Chase announced September layoffs back in June.

Another day another reorganization. This time at Citigroup. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/ceo-jane-fraser-citigroup-reorganization-will-make-some-workers-very-uncomfortable-150750917.html
"The changes will likely result in job cuts, although details were not available Wednesday. Citigroup employs roughly 240,000 people."

The banking clowns all follow each other around like puppies with FOMO on profits.
