Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Layoff questions

I thought I read that if you are laidoff after September 30, then you are still eligible for the bonus. Is that not true? Also, does WF still give you the $800 towards your health care when you are in the severance period? How about if you are in the 60 day notice timeframe?

@fpc+1p2IiHuw You clearly haven’t attended any of the post layoff meetings. It is open forum for people to ask questions. The few I have attended these were all asked and answered. Educate yourself so you know what you are entitled for during your severance period.

someone a few weeks ago said they got 75% of their normal bonus last year. The person above who said it depends upon the manager is 100% right. They control what goes out. I would not expect anything.

@apo+1p2IiHuw PI-S off!

The meetings are a joke, totally worthless. Nothing but Corporate BS so they can say look what we do for our people that we just screwed, I mean that we're trying to help.

More of the Wells Fargo dumpster fire that just can't be distinguished

I am assuming if you have been laid off and don’t know these answers you haven’t attended any of the meetings. You are on notice for 60 days, if you accrue the $800 post Jan 1 you get it. If you last notice date it Jan 15th and you only accrued $200 that is all you get.

To the person that says the 9/30 date isn’t in your package, then attend one of the weekly meetings and ask.

"Everything is listed in your severance package"

Bonus eligibility is mentioned NOWHERE in my severance package. If you know where we should be able to find it, please let us know.

Is WF still doing contributions to healthcare? They aren't for HRAs (phased out earluer). Are they for HSAs? You're not confusing this w/$800 RLly dollars that you have to earn? WF doesn't give Rally $$$ to employees.

Yes, you are ELIGIBLE for a bonus if in notice period on 9/30. Does not mean you will necessarily get it though. Would be nice to hear from some people that were laid off and still got a bonus.

You have to be on a notice period on 12/15 to get the 401k match. So if laid off in November you will still get the match. The cutoff for a layoff and to still get a match this year is 10/16.

For the HSA Health and Wellness dollars, you have to be a Wells Fargo employee and complete by 11/15. So you will have to be on a notice period and complete the incentive before 11/15. You can not be on severance and complete incentives to get the HSA contribution.

Not sure on bonus, I think it is up to your manager. I would not count on that.

So, don't get 401k match if in 60 day notice period or past that, in severance?

Yes, it is true that you still get your bonus if you are on notice or employed on 9/30. Everything is listed in your severance package as well as the meetings you attend post layoff they discuss this all. You DO NOT get your 401k match, which is crazy and I am surprised there hasn’t been a class action lawsuit on this. If you are on notice period when the $800 HSA comes through you are still eligible to keep what ever you had earned.
