We Bought Pioneer …

But we don’t have enough money to keep our US based technical employees.

To the previous clown below, what a out Midland makes it impossible to send to BTC? Go ask the how TMTS is going. The days of being "safe because you're near a valve" are over for engineers. Everyone is being shipped off. Next step will be to get spot the robot to be able to turn valves and the operators will start disappearing too. There has been and continue to be massive attrition across every aspect of the production value chain for HC10. Get out of your fantasy and start preparing your resume because March is right around the corner. It's always right around the corner.

PXD will give XOM 2000 more employees who can actually drill and frac. About 900 or the 2000 are women. White males in the US will be cut in Houston to build a more diverse company. Most of the Houston Campus are clueless on oilfield operations (those jobs will be outsourced to India). People in Midland who do "real work" will have jobs, these will not be replaced by BTC. Only high priced jobs in HOU will be reduced. I believe the lease on the PXD building in Dallas has 8 more years, so eventually that office will close down (like XTO Ft Worth office, closed 10 years after acquisition).

It is better to be a stockholder than an employee.

“Bought” is kind of a nice euphemism for “grossly overpaid for.”
