BTC are employees that are paid far less and also expected to produce far less and expected to be less competent.

Here is a scenario: American and BTC produce exact same. American will be lucky to get RG 34 while the BTC employee will get RG 81.

Exxonmobil needs to exit the US if this is their goal. Good riddance! Su-k wind! Don't let the door hit you in the azz! They want slave SCAB labor, be done with them! I have a question! How is it that Exxonmobil has historically paid their employees what they chose to pay but NOW higher paid employees are disposable but the devil that gave them that pay IS IN THE RIGHT?? GREED! It should be illegal to set employees up to destroy their livelihoods because Exxonmobil found SCABS to manipulate and own!

@hqz I believe the phrase you are looking for is SCABS

All I know is that I now spend 40% of my time coaching, mentoring and looking after BTC people. Something I did not have to do before when we had more employees and hatted contractors.

I like the way you phrased that... "Used BTC in many projects..." I bet you did use them.

Heads up BTC folks, the managers here (just like the one who posted below) view you as second class citizens to be used like cheap tools. They don't respect you. They won't pay you fairly and you won't get ahead. Take my advice - get trained and leave.

Nah fk you guys. For every one employee that's a solid worker, there's ten of you that are a drag that we're expected to babysit.

It’s emotional for HC-10 people, but I’ve used BTC in many projects, and I will tell you they were better than folks on my prior teams. More humble, more experienced, more hardworking and more grateful. And yes less expensive.

I have seen these posts and there are a few of you who just don’t like the concept. Probably the same who would think differently politically. It is okay, I acknowledge your presence and your loud voice. Just like I cannot force you to change your mind, same is true other way round. I can see that you come here to type your emotions. I see same for many in comments sections of FoxNews / MSNBC comment boxes.

To those who make decisions based on selective outrage you see on these forums. It is important to know about vocal minority. Do not mistake for one minute that the vocal minority is a majority. Clean this up, get rid of those who don’t understand even after given multiple chances. AND make it known why they were removed, so it doesn’t get repeated.

Nope. No support at all. EM C-suite has plans to reduce HC10 headcount. HC means high cost.

For all of us in the US, UK, Germany, Belgium, etc., think about it. All of you that sympathize with this are saying 1) you agree with a CEO that makes tons more than you, and 2) that BTC has better skills for the money. If you do, quit now. By 2024, many of you will need to be looking for other jobs. Darren does not want to employee people in the West, but he does want more stock.

$55.7B last year. Think about it.

Nope. No sympathy. Third grade employees make good yes men and women supervisors. BTC employees have no talent or backbone. Worst among the worst.

Unfortunately the company has set up a zero sum game here. Expect all the things that come with that.

Do not blame them - if a company pays peanuts that company get monkeys.

They have to take all the sh$t from management with a smile, they are constantly blamed for all that goes wrong and they know not to expect high(er) salaries or proper training. They would then become just as expensive as anyone else in the "old" world and they may loose their job altogether.

Show some kindness, it is not their fault.

By 2030, BTC employees are planned to be 80% of GP headcount.

So, in reality, EM employees ae BTC employees!

It's the rest of you losers that are disillusioned.
