BS. There will be no return to work for many of these WFHers. Many will be deservedly allowed to remain home newly unemployed.

I think its great - people n my VGS team are out at the gym, cleaning their pool and doing yard works time to either trim that fat or, bring us back into the office

What would be the justification for one day at home? They got you in for four days because it is better for the company and your career so that means five days in the office.

I think we’ll eventually go back to 4 days per week in office with 1 fixed wfh day. The company wants/needs rto badly and floating wfh days are too hard to track/manage because people can’t follow rules.
Problem is GRE is closing all the offices.
“nail in the coffin” why cause there asking you to return to a job you applied to. When you applied nobody mentioned WFH. They’re paying us good money to report to the office. If we don’t it gives them all the right in the world to renegotiate our pay. Also allowing Verizon plenty of space to outsource our jobs. Becareful what you wish for.
