Omg could people ask d-mber questions? Yet they have such a self satisfied look on their faces. They just wasted the time of tens of thousands of people.

If you are neutral in times of oppression, you have sided with the oppressor. Israel is the oppressor, Cisco has sided with Israel.
Cisco Beat/check-ins are about the Execs wanting to look good and brainwash us all ! It is a waist of time. We say we are not picking sides, but we all know we have. Just follow the money!!! We have given millions to the far left and we all know who they are supporting today! Sometimes I'm ashamed to work for this company. We have lost our integrity!
A lot of 'The Beat' questions are written by HR. I remember once when our office was selected to read out one of these pre-written questions. There was a big debate about finding someone trustworthy enough to get the honour of asking CR the question.
Are there not people in Crimea and Donbas that want to be part of Russia? All these disputes are over land. Some religion, but mostly land.
Uh, there weren’t really 2 sides to choose from re Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Little more complicated in Israel & Palestine, where you can be absolutely outraged at Ha--s’ terrorism and still be supportive of a better, safer existence for Palestinians in Gaza that doesn’t require 2m of them to squeeze into 1/2 of tiny Gaza
Didn't ELT pick sides on Ukraine?
CR tried hard to weasel out of that one as well. His first attempt to ride it out got him severe blowback from (European) colleagues. I even wrote him several emails pointing out where he was failing the expectations of employees in the region. In the end, he mostly got there (begrudgingly)
If others at Cisco can waste time watching the Cisco Beat fantasy show then I deem it that I can watch The Simpsons at the same time. I learn more about my job watching that than I do Cisco Beat.
The ELT has never been apolitical. We all know what side they are taking in this and it is horrible.
JV also brought up webex noise cancellation yet again as a great example of our AI prowess. 1) We acquired it 2) All our competitors do it too 3) One minor feature from literally years ago is still all he’s got to tout.
I loved it. Way more important than building good products that don't crash every other week.
Cisco's junk has been buggy since at least the 1990s. Anything that keeps you from checking in more bugs is a quality win.
I attended the first one years ago expecting CR and his cronies to talk about how they were going to build an incredible technical strategy and how we would beat the competition. Instead we get a ton of political cr-p. I come to work to do my job, not to be lectured and versed in this sh-t. Also, the comments section is nauseating in its sycophantic fawning of CR and the ELT. I’ve never attended another. Utter fu--ing garbage.
Missed the call due to being on vacation. Wonder if the genius congregation of ELT said anything about the latest LRs last week and the fact that layoffs now have become almost constant, year long and stealth, same as in HP and HPE. Are we also going to split up like them? CFL and CFD: Cisco For Losers and Cisco For the Desperate.

Didn't ELT pick sides on Ukraine?
CR and ELT: We’re not going to pick sides in this. It’s important for us to stay apolitical. Let’s just focus on making sure our people are safe.
Also CR and ELT: We fully support BLM and far-left ideology.
So which is it CR and ELT?
I thought it was good content.
