I remember back in 2011 or 12 randal refered to employees as something along the lines of consumers of office space and resources in real time.

Can anyone explain what the "Ageism comment" was that Stanky said and has everyone fired up about?

"he should have said we are annuals the way they ki-l off employees each year and usually in the last quarter"

Now that's funny! LOL

No, GenX does not accept that term. What is he even talking about?

He referred to employees as "human capital".

With an attitude like that, why do you expect caring?

So he litterly said, we can cut whomever we want, and we'll always have the employees we need. What ever happened to caring for employees?

Kudos to the lady that asked about boomer generation — targets of Stanky. He intentionally left them out and now calls them perennials. He knows they are the most knowledgeable group in the company and now is asking them to come and teach the newbies. There is no replacement for experience, John…..not AI, not degrees, not consultants. experience is gained and not taught.

If the use of the word perinial as a type of plant that does not grow from a seed each year (tree, rose, etc.) is a way to unite the generations as one, there are hundreds of thousands of perenials so we are even further divided based on new classifications or lables if this is the weirdos attempt.

I thought he meant he is going to wrap, not rap. Hoping he was announcing his retirement since he is too old per his previous ageism comments. Just like a politician, it only applies to the other person, they are too special and deserve an exemption.

Sure was a fun story of his privilege 31 year old son and his 3 minutes of rap

the decay of the american enviroment is our fault for withdrawing from our neighbors. It has nothing to do with massive proffits by corporations while pushing down wages and taking away benifits. This is what I believe johnny is trying to say.

He opened Pandora’s box a few months ago with his ageism comments. Might work in politics but not in business, can’t put that one back in the bag, no matter what he says going forward.

He's trying to do damage control on his "we're getting rid of the old people" comments from last time. Now suddenly - "oh your age doesn't matter, we're all the same!"
