An internal email came out today about it, it definitely happened. It shouldve came from MD but it was from the Chief Security Officer.
The part noones talking about here is how this couldve been much worse. This person couldve went inside and shot up the place first. Sadly they were likely forced to RTO and then WFR'd anyways.
This should be a wakeup call for everybody.
I know someone who worked somewhere that had an on campus employee su----e earlier this year. They immediately texted/emailed the entire company about it to make sure everyone was okay and had access to counseling resources.
Meanwhile all Dell does is deflect, deny, and try to hide it. Disgusting but expected from a company with no morals any more.
It was called into 911 by a team member. It happened. Execs were informed.

Any Dell employees onsite at Round Rock that can corroborate this? More information, police presence, signage by the deceased etc.
They are cowards and they will deny any responsibility. But people are not id--ts and we weren’t born yesterday. Someone has issues won’t ki-l himself on the spot after receiving the news that he will be fired. This is a devastating outcome because of devastating news he received. Do the math!
We are being fed that this was a result of his own “issues” that the company has no hand in it and there likely won’t be much addressed around it….
I hope his family and friends are okay. Life is worth so much more than what these companies put people though. The company culture right now is so terrible and mental health does not matter, only profits do. Take care of yourselves. Dell isn’t worth this.
