Your threats of collapse will not deter the UAW. The world that you benefited from has fundamentally changed in the last 20 years. You can only look in the mirror and thank yourself for all that is happening. First, you make the biggest doofus Hackett the leader of the company, then you let go the most logical fix to Hackett, Hinrichs, paving the way for the second biggest doofus Farley to lead the company. Bill Ford and Jim Farley don't have any backbone. They will give in to the UAW.

When the UAW leadership mentions members haven't had great raises in the past contract, they fail to mention that larger signing bonus that were awarded. So now my coworkers all assume they will get a 21% raise over the life of the contract and a 10K signing bonus. I as a skilled trade member just talk to myself and laugh at this nonsense knowing I am the one getting a bad deal.

If you're serious about being union friendly then you'll give the UAW a lot of what they're asking for. As usually Billy boy is all talk and no action.

He was responsivle for putting Ford in a position where it had to mortgage its blue oval. He was responsible for Jacques Nassar. Ford 2000 was his brand child. He was responsible for the mess that became Visteon. It was his idea to use alliteration for the vehicle names in the 2000s.

If Ford ceases to exist today, Bill Ford and his family will be financially set for generations to come, yet you will likely be begging for handouts as you are now.
