Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Possible to unionize?

Most will probably agree that they are tired of the treatment of Dell but is it possible to unionize? They would probably send all jobs to Panama though….

Are all tech workers interchangeable? Because that’s what unions are for. I don’t want a union because I feel like I have my own unique value. If not companies want to discriminate against me or treat me like sh-t I’ll start my own business or work somewhere else. My objection is to big government and big finance normalizing discrimination which unionization will only accelerate.

No one forced you to take a job at Dell and keep a job at Dell. If you don’t like your situation, maybe go start your own company or find a different one.
