Open Enrollment 2024 Medical Insurance Providers

For AT&T Open Enrollment, who are the 2024 Medical Insurance Providers by State? We are in Alabama and have Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois for 2023. Asking this question for any specific states since others may be interested in knowing this for their state. I have not been able to find that information yet in the Open Enrollment process, other than it looks like there is only one choice and not a low cost and high cost provider choice. Any answers specific for any state are appreciated, or if there is a link providing this information for all states. As info, I went to Healthcare.gov and prices there are significantly higher than AT&T plans for a married couple (retired, 60 years old). I even entered $0 annual income and no other place to get insurance and the Healthcare.gov premiums were still higher. So we appear to be stuck with the new higher AT&T medical premiums. If anyone knows of lower cost medical coverage outside of AT&T, please advise also. Thanks.

The devil is in the details, the premium shouldn’t be your only deciding factor. There is Co-insurance %, Deductions, Out of pocket, Prescriptions and Durable medical equipment cost if needed.

One has to weigh out the cost or potential cost for their situation.

It only went up $25 for me. How can you complain?

You don’t expect open enrollment to be upfront with data do you? This is AT&T where asking the 8 ball will probably give you better information.

Your coverage at T is company subsidized. For 2023, the full cost for retired employees with spouse to have Broad is $20K. That is likely the true cost for that particular plan.
