Glad to see the advertising budget hasn't been impacted by the strike. I have seen no less than 10 Ford "All in on America" commercials every Sunday over the last 2 months watching football. The irony of running these ads celebrating the people on the brink of bankrupting us is a little too much. No bonuses for us this year but we can spend $100 million on TV commercials for vehicles we can't build...

Advertising is the last thing any business should cut. Anyone with a basic level of business sense knows this and knows why.
@sok It's actually true, it's just that they're referring to two continents, not the USA.
We already have enough advertising with the strike news. We supposedly already have record profits.
Ford's commercial are the worst. "We're all in on America!"
My foot.
Farley no advertising required for bevs. Good insight?
@nvw BS.... if you have a great product, it will sell itself. How many Tesla commercials have you seen? Roof shingles? Costco? PF Changs?
We simply dont have great products right now and need to saturate the airwaves with tall tales.
Can't sell anything without advertising the product. No sales, no jobs.
I could do without all the phone/car and insurance commercials. Enough is enough.
