His recent comments about red states not wanting EVs is beyond foolish. Most red states are heavily focused on industry. Ford put out an electric truck that can only tow a boat or camper 100 miles. Is it a political issue if people don't find that useful?

Bill has been coasting off the company his ancestors built for him. The company did so well before Bill was put in a position to be dangerous that it is the only reason it’s around. Yes, that old Ford had elements of politicking but if you dropped the ball, there was no vanishing into the wood work. You got reamed/admonished in public forum. The way the company works now is a complete joke. Recalls, warranty numbers through the roof. And these care takers of the company don’t even get so much as a slap on the wrist for dereliction of duty. Look at Kumar getting promoted to COO, and my question: “What on his record proved he was deserving of this pay increase?” Ford Blue is a f&$king disaster; the product has pushed away so many customers with high warranty and recalls. But alas that is how the company operates. As if it’s fate was already. written.

There is a new Ford affinity group which may help with information sharing, since some of us have volunteered at parts distribution centers and may be out of the loop of what is going on in our home departments.
The Ford Brotherhood is where we can put our calculators down, take our ties off, work from home as often as we want to, and disparage our supervisors as often as we need to. It's where we can just unapologetically be… Ford employees and be proud of ourselves.
To not think this is politically motivated as Ford receives funds from the Governemnt with democrat running the show either is simple native or ignorant.
Then we get Texas and California are basically the same between ICE and EV followed by conservatives only live in rural areas while liberals are more to adapt to EV.... Lol

Idk why he said "red states" and "blue states" you see plenty of Tesla's in Texas and plenty of Challengers in California. I would say the political left has been more willing to adopt EVs because demographically, most of them live in urban areas with good charging infrastructure and short commutes, EVs are simply more convenient for them. "Conservatives" typically live in more rural areas, with less infrastructure and are more demanding of their vehicles, EVs don't fit that use case now and maybe never will. And maybe you could say the conservatives are more belligerent because there is so much talk of outlawing ICE before EVs are a viable replacement. Maybe he should focus on making an electric truck that can go 500 miles and only takes 10 minutes to recharge before slamming "red states".
