Seems like Exxonmobil is paying a few folks to come on here and promote the company. I mean how many happy employees are on a layoff site? Seems every post there’s a company sponsor with some smart azz answer, it’s almost getting as bad as working there. I would almost think it’s AI but some of the ridiculous comments and up/ downvoting are so ridiculous and redundant it can’t be a computer. Computers aren’t programmed to be that ignorant and obnoxious. If that’s really true then the company is truly scraping the bottom of the barrel. Unless it’s a manager that doesn’t get enough rush commanding people at work and comes in here to excercise her perceived narcissistic worth because she’s not getting enough thrills at work. Pretty pathetic

Aside from my very nice EM $ package, EM is certainly not paying for me to sit pool side every afternoon with my favorite refreshment; I pay for that myself with the money provided by my EM retirement package. Ha! Funny how that works.

Trust me, you’re nowhere near as important or interesting as you think yourselves to be.
Not a paid promoter, just love my career at ExxonMobil. I’ve worked at other places and between the pay, benefits, work-life balance, job security, great supervisors and managers ExxonMobil is the best! Yes I an a fair share giver to the United Way and the PAC. Anyone who thinks ExxonMobil is not the best place for a career doesn’t know what they are talking about.
Any employee paying attention last 5 years can easily read this board, filter out the d-mb troll comments and filter out useful comments and sentiments.
I do correct wrong statements when appropriate but not paid for it.
I also post criticism when appropriate.

It’s trivial, whether it’s a troll or a corporate shill trying to change the narrative from time to time, it’s obvious that he can’t do much damage here. As you said, those posts or downvotes are pretty easy to spot and ignore, and sometimes his attempts to discredit someone's post achieve the opposite effect - more people end up reading that particular post than they normally would.
