COO town hall mess

What a bizarre sh*tshow from this morning. No agenda or presentation, just jumps right into a Q&A with Guy Smiley. He looked disheveled like he was given some o-y for that broken foot. And why was every answer proceeded with a laugh or joke. Can’t take this guy seriously at all.

Why would anyone expect anything else. Management all the way down to Directors and mid-level peddlers are all in comma.

The most powerful message employees could send would be to stop attending this BS. Don't go in person, don't attend virtually, don't watch replays, and don't submit questions. Just completely ignore these mo--ns. If next time this clown shows up it's to an empty room, it would be ideal. Stop supporting and validating the work of the people that have made it their mission to eliminate the domestic workforce. Hudson Yards hates you. They feel that you are the problem. They appreciate nothing you do, unless it's resigning. There's no point even trying to kiss up to them. They'll accept your worship, and downsize you anyway.

I turned it off after about 20 minutes. Couldn't stand listening to the clown show.

“I'll say Mike S was a little bit more human and personable in the Finance town hall. Seemed to be in a better mood than last time”

Because Mike S just dumped a bunch of folks in finance on 11/14. Getting the expense down for a bigger bonus.

I don’t even bother to watch these clown shows. Big joke Chuck and company. Shameful.

Couldn't agree more. No agenda, way too much talking about Thanksgiving plans and other personal topics, and nothing of substance discussed. Almost all questions asked were softballs, and all questions were answered vaguely. I walked away with no new information or sense of the company's direction.

It's so infuriating to watch the minutes tick by while an executive with a smarmy smile reflects on his favorite drinks and holiday plans. Meanwhile, hoards of employees are being laid off, and those left behind are overworked and burned out.

Just as with the CEO town halls, this town hall felt like hearing a politician talk without anyone to hold them accountable.

The gaslighting is epic.

They are laughing at us, while firing us and making millions off of us.

Corporate pillaging w/hubris.

It's all staged. Like a sitcom TV show in front of a live audience, the signs will flash when they need to laugh or applaud.
