This is not hard!
If you are withing 10 years of retirement you should have a financial plan in place all ready. If your statement regarding finances is true, hire a competent financial planner to do an analysis of your finances.
I tend to agree with one of the posters and tend to think you most likely don't have the "big number" in your retirement account.
You don't have to do anything. No waiting. Take it all out now by year end and Ford will double it.
Check with your benefit reps and standard 401k protocols. I am suspicious you actually have anything saved if you don't have any idea what the details are.
