If you leave the company or are terminated before 36 months, you will have to pay back the loan with interest at whatever rates are at the time of dismissal.
Is this a good deal?

Lol the things people come up with...
Where are people hearing about this? I have heard nothing. Why would VZ offer this?
If they make this part of the regular pay, I'm out. If it's a one time thing it may benefit some employees, but if they make it part of the regular pay, at some point you'll be coughing up interest to retire or switch jobs.
I am gonna take that money, jump on my unicorn, and ride off into the Sunset.
That's what they kind of tried with the stock options, but then they ki-led the stock price.
I’d take those 30k in a heartbeat. I hope this is true. Inflation is kicking my a-s 😭
This is huge! I'm going to buy myself a used Tesla or maybe even front row Taylor Swift tickets. 🤣🤣
The enormous current corporate debt is a preface to corporate bankruptcy.
Fake post
Today Verizon is in debt of 150 Billion dollars with most of the loans at 1% coming due in the next 12 months.
They will have to refinance of course, but the 1% loans will now be at 7-8-9 percent adding 350 million dollars at least to each loan payment.
This is what Verizon is facing this year....and I'm sorry did you say they will be giving their 117,100 employees 30K of forgiven loans to the tune of 3,510,000 Billion dollars?
Well, given Verizon's financial incompetence....this sounds about right!
Oh wow, this is really not a good sign. They’re banking on collecting interests from su-kers to make up for lost revenue.
Rifs in June and November but VZ needs to offer free money to retain people? Yea that makes sense.
its all. B.S
Lmao. I can’t wait until mfers start posting about getting scammed after taking this and then getting fired or laid off. (Assuming it is true, seems too d-mb but it is vz)
Inflation isn’t a comp problem its an opportunity for retention?
This is d-mb and greedy and ranks down there with the company credit card. This means that they are out of ideas about what to do with cash, morale, products, and profit.
Where is the red-he-l is this coming from? and why would VZ ever do it?
I’ve heard of other companies doing this as an incentive but not with us. This would be fantastic but dangerous for people who can’t control themselves.
It's a fantastic idea and I got the money in my account already this morning. Going to the casino tonight and doubling it.
