Who listened to the call today. After several months BL finally acknowledged location strategy . What a joke in what she said that the company has addressed this with grace. Is she not aware of the GP call. What a f__king joke . After how many months BL has decided to say something about how this has impacted so many talented people, she and this company are clueless. What a joke the Operation Committed of this company has become. Who in their right mind would want to let go so many talented employees due to an absolutely stupid location strategy. This company should be ashamed of itself and realize this when the company fails and merged with a competitor. Mark my words.

All they had to do with location strategy is announce hubs. That if you aren’t in a hub, that is ok, you are grandfathered in. But all new hires must be in hubs.
Over time as people move on then employees would be more centrally located in hubs.
No ridiculous loss of talent because of where a person sits, adding to company risk. It gives the company time to measure this approach and easily reverse it if it doesn’t work.
Be careful, if we go too much DEI, we will become another Bud Light and lose our business altogether.

@pdy my manager admitted this thinking to us yesterday. Upper management is managing strictly by numbers, real world evidence and scenarios don't matter. Damn the torpedos.
Hard to take anyone from HR serious
They are the smartest people in the room and they have determined that unless you have talent that they deem important you are expendable.
It might make things go slower but their bonus will be higher since less unimportant "talent" (in their minds) are gone.
