Global Survey Results?

Anyone know what became of the global survey we took a few months back? Are they struggling with how to twist the results to where they sound positive?

there's a slow-roll process where results are shared down to the OC+2 level first. Then the communications start, first with charlie, then OC, and then managers OC+1 and down are permitted to communicate.

As of this writing, OC+2 have seen their results, but not allowed to share them until the comms from CS, then OC are out. No timing has been provided as to when that will happen, but it's expected to be in the first couple of weeks in Dec.

action plans are done at the local level. if you don't see anything being done - look to your OC+1 leader to blame.

Oh, you took the survey? Anyway, it's like everything else, it's a hot topic whenever the results come out but more real matters come up, especially at Wells F-ing Fargo: MRAs, asset cap, 1 million control people controlling stuff, etc. Don't sweat it, your voice doesn't matter, move on and you'll be alright.

Regardless of what the results actually are we will hear: "we did better in a few areas than our peer companies and we have work to do in a few areas. But overall the results are good." And then they'll never follow up on what they're doing to bring up the scores in the areas that they say need work and it will be the last anyone hears from leadership on it. Until, of course, when they bring up the survey the next year and remind everyone how important it is and how what employees say matters and how so many improvements were made because of it.

We may or may not actually see the results. And we may or may not get tasked with figuring out how to bring the score up for next year which usually involves a higher-up telling you that you misinterpreted the question and explaining what it really meant. And then asking you to remember that when you go to take the survey next year so we aren't tasked with doing this again.

Nothing actually ever comes of it.

Director level in our LoB have seen them for their teams. They’re trickling down slowly.

Global survey is solely designed to (1) identify disgruntled employees, (2) control potential risks, and (3) protect the company. Nothing more.
