This week, I'm thankful I don't work at Wells Fargo or have to deal with the arrogance, stupidity and greed of their executives. What a suffocating environment, I worked in it for years. It's no wonder so many people want a severance package.
You're just a number, a cog in a corporate machine, bureaucratic quagmire.
Wish you all the best, get out of there as fast as you can and find another job. They don't deserve any good talent. I wouldn't bank $100 there either.

A few years ago got laid off with a very nice 7 month severance. Kept me from suing them for harassment. Worst place I ever worked.
I quit 2 years ago after more than 23 years. Wish I had the gumption to have done it sooner. I make $30K more a year than I did the day I left WF and my new job matched my PTO days that I had with WF and they match my 401K every pay period, not just 1 time a year. Plus, they look for reasons to give me a positive performance review rather than looking for reasons to downgrade me below "Meets." All I can say is my middle manager who gave me a poor performance review just before I left actually did me a favor - I looked for new jobs like it was my job after that. She still is a horrible person who I hope gets cut by WF some day and can't find another job. As for me, I'm off this week and enjoying my new salary.

All corporations will normalize to be the same. Look at outsourcing, everyone is doing it exactly the same.
