Small cuts happen all the time at any big company. We’re here to learn about the bigger cuts.

It’s the new Ford way, smallish cuts that go unnoticed by the public and for the most part by the employees (unless it hits close to home). Did some cuts happen, yes. Was it publicized, no.
this didn't aged well.
@1frq+1pFvbuYU: August 22, 2022 When 3000 people were terminated was a Monday. Ask me how I know.
"So did something actually happen or everyone is just trolling?"
Nothing happened. Just drama here like almost every other post like this. Unless you have a history of seeing predictions on this board come to pass, take everything with a grain of salt. 90% of people on here are venting/trolling. Unless it's how to survive the meetings and how people avoid work, those posts have merit...but only because it happens everywhere and well...broken clock twice a day..blah, blah
It was a mass sla-ghter today in the salary ranks, right?
So did something actually happen or everyone is just trolling?
Just found out a teammate got laid off today.
Fairly small group so I can't say much else.
I think this is Ford 's new way. Small layoffs every month to fly under the radar. Guy had 33 years. I'm sure he'll just retire now.
Sad but true. My entire department was laid off en masse today. It wasn’t planned, but I heard our chief engineer read about this post, and decided after breakfast it was a great idea. Thanks for nothing to whoever created this post :(
"My sincerest condolences to everyone who lost their jobs today..."
I'm sure someone, somewhere did. But this 11-20-23 idea is bullsh-t. No one heard anything and no one knows sh-t and if and LL did why in the he-l would they tell you?
This is almost as bad as our guy who says "Didn't hear it at the town hall so therefore false." Just the opposite.
"GM or Stellantis will welcome you with open arms."
No, no they won't. Stellantis just laid off 50% of NA...how does this make sense? GM is almost as bad and thinks they can just write everything off and bring in SV talent to solve all their issues.
My sincerest condolences to everyone who lost their jobs today...
GM or Stellantis will welcome you with open arms.
I think if there is any substance to the 18% number that was given, it will likely be purchased services because that is the easiest thing to do. That alone might cover that number. Doubt it will be any direct GSR's.
We haven't heard fromm the F150 guy at the gas station lately. Maybe he was laid off?
What do you mean firings don't happen on Monday? August 22nd, 2022 was a Monday.
11/20 is a Monday. Tomorrow.
Things like that don’t happen on Mondays.
Just got heads up from my LL5 who got heads up from our LL4, 18% cut in IVIN, dev and test. I asked for a layoff, I hope I’ve saved someone who needs a job this season. He just said this week, probably starting Tuesday.
Was this discussed in the recent Town Hall?
I was unable to attend due to a conflicting meeting with the rest of my team in India.
If it was not mentioned in the Town Hall then I would not worry about it.
They would never do such a thing before Thanksgiving and Native American Heritage Day!
The timing makes sense now that the UAW contract was ratified late Friday.

Hey OP,
Instead of just spewing a date, why don’t you make yourself useful and provide details of what you know and how you know it.
Until its confirmed by the guy living in grandma's basement, its just rumor.
Good luck with that. Half of U.S. employees with be off and likely unreachable.
Heard brackets group getting hit hard once again.
