Heard a rumor procurement will be outsourced. Has anyone else heard this? Can anyone confirm or give more details?

GBS buyers and category managers are being outsourced with Accenture. Start TBD. This is not a rumor.
In Clifton the procurement people were threatened with outsourcing over a year ago because they couldn't come in under an unrealistic budget goal . Outsourcing this function will just result in more mismanagement by people from outside of the industry who are unfamiliar with the product. Outsourcing benefits had a similar bad outcome. Just another feeble attempt at cutting costs as the only way to drive up stock prices. Looks like more layoffs coming.
