Bring back Hackett, are kidding me! That guy was absolutely worthless. It took him years to come up with “the plan”. And then what. Same old job loss and move positions to LLCs plan that he did at steelcase.

Behind all of the last 20 years of constant failure. Only one name has been there through it all, Billy the ta-d Ford. Until he’s gone, the ship will keep sinking.

Nothing new and he’s done these skip levels before. Likely want make a difference since no one will have the courage to speak truth to power. The culture of the company is now based on fear and promoting the wrong people who tow the CEO line; sadly no longer family-oriented and caring company building great products.

Like LL level have a pulse on what is going on. They don't listen to GSR's...they only dictate, then take credit for your work. They are to worried about trying to climb the ladder, than to listen and be honest. Su-k ups! That's how they made it to the LL level.

it is interesting if Farley is going to do these. thumbs up. maybe some info will get thru. we can only hope. as some have pointed out, most of the real knowledge of what is going on is with the long term GSRs. i remember hearing stories back in the day of many meetings in a plant about creases in the seat fabric. "we gotta get rid of those." that's how concerned they were about quality back then. if there is a minor issue, fix the darn thing. dont hide it.

Honesty does have its own consequences. The obvious trade-off for this company is dishonesty. So it is no longer meaningful to have these skip-level. Skip.

I would love to see people here holding the Board accountable as well. After all, they're the ones allowing Farley and others to keep their jobs year after year.

Farley should talk with GSRs and not get recommendations from leadership. Only then he may hear what actually is going on. Depends on what kind of information he is seeking. Might want to pick some newbies who haven’t learned that you only tell them what they want to hear or someone nearing retirement that has 30+ years and noting to lose by speaking their mind and getting the axe because they spoke the truth. I also wouldn’t speak to the chosen ones, they all know who they are because again, he’ll only get smoke blown up his ar-e.

LL4/LL5s get to suggest which LL6s Farley talks to. I'm sure anyone with an opinion is going to be left off that list.

Bring back Hackett? That goofball was only slightly less damaging than Ricky-Bobby Farley. If your plan is to destroy the company as fast as possible, then bring back Billy. If your goal is to save the company, pick up the phone and call Mulally. But my guess is that Alan has Billy's number blocked.

Time for BF to fire Farley, and bring back Hackett.

JF is still identifying who he can blame to save his job. His first choice, Kumar, has Tefloned himself so JF is gathering intel via skip-level meetings. Only the foolish will tell him anything other than praise for everyone.
