Spun off …is couldn’t find a buyer!
They spun it off, HA, because the last 5 buyers walked away at the last minute. They couldn’t get a su---r to pull the trigger. So they sold it for pennys on the dollar and…wait for it…it’s another 1,000 employees off payroll. Win win Stank!

If anyone working for cyber, I suggest you strongly consider your career in the upcoming months. How does this change affect your current benefits (retirement, pension, health insurance). How does the change affect work life balance (sick days, vacation days, caring for loved ones). How do you feel about how the change. How do you feel about how management presented these changes to you. Do you TRUST that management will do right by you based on what has rolled out so far?

It will fail. WHAT happened to the strategy of sticking to core products of Fiber, internet, cell service? That lasted 5 minutes, now we want to make another bad investment? How much will this add to our debt?

“Creates standalone” ? How about , had no idea what they’re doing in the commercial CyberSecurity space so they will do exactly what they always do, cut ties and walk away…there is little no value in the brand anymore unless you want to buy a phone case..those employees are on an island.

It will fizzle out just like it's cloud service did 8 years ago due to overpricing. AT&T still has it stuck in their heads that people will gladly pay more for the brand. To be fair this company had the potential of being the leader in cloud had they hired the right people instead of having legacy phone people run the program. The rest is history as will be it's cybersecurity endeavor. Late to the game like always.

AT&T will create a cybersecurity joint venture with WillJam Ventures, a Chicago-based investor. The move effectively spins off AT&T's managed security service operations.
