Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Get rid of Stankey!

AT&T is in trouble until we kick out him and the whole upper management and bring in some folks who know what they're doing. He and his cohort are basically the source of all our headaches. How big of a mess do you have to make in the top dog role before someone says that maybe, just maybe, it's time for a change?

Yes, the Stank has been abject disaster for the ages. However he is a brazen arrogant greedy power hungry $0b that refuses to admit the obvious and walk away. his last 15 years have destroyed a major US corporation

Stink is only a symptom. The BOD is and has been the cancer that has metastasized CEOs like Randy, Mr Ed and the Stink.

"Stankey is making T lean and helping to get rid of a lot of the long-term dead weight."

No, he isn't... Mid / mid-high-level managers are still protecting their favorites and many incompetent people are being retained. Meanwhile the high performers are so unhappy working with these incompetents that they are miserable, and the business is suffering as a result.

Correct employee count will be much lower before JS leaves. However…
Take note of many employees in Sacramento / Hiding place for favored employees / execs using to protect friends/family from moving

We're hitting him hard here. We got him on the run. He knows his day is coming.

Complaining here is a good first step in getting rid of Stankey.

Stankey is only here to see that the restructure is conplete. 75k total employees worldwide, shift to majority contract workforce, and sell off of significant portfolio businesses. Then he will exit.

OP must be an “as long as I get to WFH all will be good with the company” person

Stinky knows exactly what he is doing. He is the greatest at what he does:

  • Maximizes his compensation for his gross incompetence!
  • Maximizes the pain the Stink so enjoys on employees, shareholders, and customers.
  • Enjoys Pajama Parties!
  • Loves flying on the corporate jets to get his head polished.

Not until the stupid shareholders figure it out, will they dump the BoD and force the Stink out. Anyone that holds Toxic-T stock is STUPID - yeah love that 6.86% dividend while you lost 50% of your principle. Yeah, that makes sense. And employees that remain, you must really enjoy the Stinky love to stay for the abuse.

Employees - GTFO! Leave! Get another job! Retire! Or just say, "Thank you Stink! May I have another?" as he paddles you!

Stankey is making T lean and helping to get rid of a lot of the longterm dead weight. Although unpopular, he is having a really positive effect on T!

What do you do if you have a good workforce and bad leadership? Lay off the workforce.

As long as they continue to meet Wall Street and stock holder’s expectations, nothing will change. Why do you think there has been such an increase in layoffs and selling of assets? It’s to make dividend payments, free cash flow and show some profit but Stankey can’t cut his way to success, it’s only a matter of time, as McElfresh pointed out. Have you heard from him lately?
