Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Worldwide readership

I am amazed that this board is viewed by employees all over the world. Pretty wild that there is so much discontent in the company.

OP all employees at ExxonMobil hate the company and how they are treated. The annual performance assessment is completely rigged. HR has chosen some people for unknown reasons and made them "high potential" which is total bullslt. I've seen them sc--w up badly and they're never punished for the millions they lose the shareholders. The employees really making the money for the shareholders have to take the blame and are dropped in the ranking. Some middle managers too. I've seen it. HR must protect the high potential idlots at all costs. It can't accept that they chose wrongly. Because of this ranking process there's absolutely no collaboration and there will never be. Employees are backstabbing each other and really trying to make the colleague fail so I am ranked higher and she is ranked lower. She gets fired, not me. And the list of really bad things goes on. Employees show up just for the juicy paycheck and even that is going away. Starting salaries for new employees in the HC10 are going down. There's nothing good left at ExxonMobil.

ExxonMobil has done the best job of aluenating, disenfranchsing, offending and humiliating it's workforce. It lives by indoctrination and knows no other way of 'management'. Lack of trust is the root cause.

This is the end result.

What surprised me the most I don't see that much hatred and activity compared to other oil companies, even as they are also doing layoffs
