My flight home is delayed to the afternoon. Is it worthwhile to drive to the office from the airport and swipe my badge even though in the afternoon? Or do you think time of badge swipe matters ?

Flight delays are beyond your control. I would have to be within a very short distance from the office before I swiped my badge
HR not checking this week since they don't look at workday and so many are on vacation. data would be worthless. But if convenient, why not.
The time does not matter. (manager confirmed)
Not everyone works the hours of their time zone.
And they love to brag about how global they are, which is why we are chained to our desk.
Go figure.
It’s sad that jobs have been reduced to swipes and the wonderful folks in HR or mgmt haven’t figured out the exceptions to the rule. What short sightedness.
