The people bashing TA need to get a clue. Last guy who tried to steer this massive ship and at same time make it a ok place to work. Sure he didn’t do all he could have to prevent and solve the COs but oh well. He put in effort to care for 300k of us and I’ll take that

Sloan was the best CEO I had as an employee since 2009 to present. While not perfect, I really thought he had sincere intentions to turn things around despite how daunting the task was. It's just sad he had to go to be replaced by a tool like Schart with no conscience. Even though there was such a push to get an external CEO, Schart was a definite downgrade for the company across the board. He hasn't helped the employees or the customers.
Sloan cared about his money, and how employees would increase his bottom line, just like all the other execs.

Wells has the exact same problems after like 4 years of Scharf, but employees are much more miserable. Sloan was way better than Scharf and Stumpf, both of whom just blame employees for management decisions.

Hope he gets it. He could have done more as CEO to solve the consent orders, but all in all for the employees fka as team members, he was a good CEO. Gave us the 2 personal holidays and 50 RSR, amongst other stuff. Was a people guy unlike what we have now.

I love how the WF spokesperson said "Compensation decisions are based on performance, and we stand by our decision in this matter" But the board continues to shovel $$$$ to Charlie who by all metrics has failed for years!!!

It's the modern age. Nobody takes responsibility for their "leadership", they just blame whoever came before them for as long as they are in power for everything that goes wrong, but of course take personal credit for anything that goes right. We're living in the post-truth world now.
How else do you expect him to pay his mortgage for his third home in Tahoe?
